Painting with Oils and Acrylics: DEAN WAITE, INSTRUCTOR

Tuition: $30 ($25 for members) for each 2-hour session. Each class is payable a month in advance. This workshop meets every Thursday from 1:00- 3:00pm. Participants of this class can come in at different levels and join the group for instruction and critique. Dean started out as an illustrator. For many years, his paintings have been shown throughout the United States, and he is most recognized for his maritime subjects. He also created the well known “Mini-Vues” and these are available in the Arts Center Gift shop as greeting cards, suitable for framing, and also on coffee mugs. He has instructed ongoing weekly workshops at the Arts Center for many years, where his students acknowledge him for greatly improving their painting technique.
