We are pleased to announce that there will be blue grass and more at the Marlborough Arts Center, 231 North Main Street in Marlborough, CT when “Grass Routes” plays the 4th Friday @ the Arts Cafe on Friday, October 26, 2018. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m., but doors open at 7:00 p.m.
Although known as bluegrass players, the “Grass Routes” also play folk and country and are a delightful and personable five-member group with Bill Reveley, Marilyn Toback-Reveley, Joe Lemeris, Joe Delillo, and Tim St. Jean playing multiple instruments including mandolin, fiddle, guitar, banjo, and upright bass. Unique to this group that has been together for over 20 years is that each member sings lead, so their harmonies change with each song and promise a night to remember in the beautiful Charles W. Hall Art Gallery. This is a real gift for all bluegrass lovers, and an unexpected pleasure for those who may not be familiar with the group. This is a return concert for the group and if you missed them before you will certainly want to be part of the enthusiastic audience this time.
Admission at the door is $10/person. BYOWine, with other refreshments available.
The Marlborough Arts Center is a non-profit regional center for the arts with website at www.marlborougharts.org and telephone (860) 295-9389. The building is fully accessible and there is ample parking.
