MAC 2019 Student Art Show

The Marlborough Arts Center is pleased to announce that they will once again be hosting the annual Student Art Show for students from Marlborough, Hebron, Gilead, and Andover. This 2019 show is coordinated by Sue Hollister and Lin Gotta, collaborating closely with art teachers of all the schools. In the Elementary schools the art teachers are:  Denise Ketterer in Marlborough; Roseanne Modzelewski in Hebron; Susan Giammarco in Gilead; and Jessica Waine in Andover. Brian Merrill and Rebecca Keller are in RHAM Middle School and Bev Fisher, Shelly Osowiecki, Carrie Dinunzio, and Maxine Cunningham are at RHAM High School. These talented teachers stimulate their students’ creativity in myriad ways so that each annual show is unique and always impressive. For anyone interested in art, it is worth a visit even if you do not have a student exhibiting in the show.

Because there are so many schools involved, there will be two Opening Receptions for the young artists, their family and friends, and other members of the public. On Saturday, March 2, from 1-4 p.m. will be the Opening Reception for Marlborough Elementary and RHAM Middle and High Schools. The next day on Sunday, March 3, from 1-4 p.m. will be the Opening Reception for Gilead, Hebron, and Andover Elementary schools.

After the Opening Receptions, the Show will continue to be open on weekends through March 17, every Saturday and Sunday from 1-4 p.m. Admission is free.
