Kenn Morr Band at 4th Friday @ the Arts Cafe on October 23rd

The Marlborough Arts Center is delighted to present the Kenn Morr Band at its ” 4th Friday @ the Arts Cafe” musical evening on Friday, October 23, 2015 from 7:30 – 9:00 p.m. in the beautiful Charles W. Hall Art Gallery at 231 North Main Street, Marlborough, CT.  Returning by popular demand, Kenn Morr is known throughout the United States and in Europe as a singer/songwriter who has captured a huge fan base with his very special lyrics based on his life experiences. His velvety baritone makes his songs seem like conversations with all who hear. His band has produced six popular albums will be playing many of the hits from those albums. Known for their harmonics and acoustic rock  style,  the band is  led by Kenn Morr on vocals, guitar, keyboard, and harmonica, the band members include Bob Gaspar as percussionist and master of the West African drum djembe;  Tom Hagymasi who plays a wide variety of instruments: bouzouki, mandolin, violin, and concertina; and Pat Ryan on bass guitar as well as backup vocals.  We in Marlborough are privileged to be part of the tour supporting their latest double-album “Afterimage”, a collection of 28 songs selected from their previous albums and now re-recorded by the present Kenn Morr Band. They will make this a musical evening to remember for everyone in the audience. Do plan to attend on October 23.
Admission is $10 per person. BYOWine. Other refreshments are available. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m., but the doors open at 7:00 so there is time to peruse the Gift Shop, choose your own seats (no advance reserved seats), then relax and settle in for what promises to be a fine evening of music and the stories behind it.
