The Marlborough Arts Center’s 4th Friday @ the Arts Café presents Handler & Levesque, the dynamic husband and wife duo who bring an evening of sophisticated arrangements for guitar and mandolin. They have delighted audiences in over 2,500 concerts in the USA and Europe, playing a blend of Classical, Latin American, Klezmer, Jazz, Celtic, and Folk music for a unique and extraordinary sound.

Judy Handler’s musical background includes a Master of Music from Hartt, Bachelor of Music from Cincinnati College Conservatory, a Diploma of Merit from Accademia Musicale Chigiana of Siena, Italy, a Certificate from Curs Internacional de Musica Vila-Seca Conservatory in Spain, and a Diploma from Aspen Music School. She teaches at a private studio in Vernon, CT.

Mark Levesque began playing guitar at age 10, playing with rock and blues bands, then becoming interested in other styles including Jazz, Classical, and International. He composes instrumental music and songs, and works with synthesizer orchestration. He has researched music from all over the world and has written many arrangements for the group. Mark also teaches at a private studio in Vernon, CT.

Admission at the door is $10. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. with the concert beginning at 7:30 p.m. The Arts Center is fully accessible with ample parking available.
