The Annual Holiday Music Show by the Elmer Thienes Elementary School 6th Grade Chorus, Jazz Combo, and Woodwind Ensemble will be presented at the Marlborough Arts Center, 231 North Main Street on December 6, 2018 at 7:00 p.m.
This is always a very festive school and community event with the band directed by Donna Arseneault and choral groups by Susan Burgess. The program will feature the Grade 6 Chorus, Jazz Combo, Woodwind Ensemble and instrumental selections duets and solos. Included in the program will be Marshmallow World and Joyful Time by the Jazz Combo, while the Woodwind Ensemble will perform Angels We Have Heard On High and Silent Night among their selections. This is an evening of holiday favorites for all.
The doors will open at 6:30 p.m. with admission $2 for individuals and $5 per family. For this concert a family is considered to include just parents/guardians and siblings of the performers.
The Marlborough Arts Center is delighted to host these student musicians whose talents bring a wonderful spirit to the beginning of the holiday season. The Arts Center, a regional center for the arts, is housed in an historic building surrounded by landscaped lawns and with an adjoining ART PARK. It is fully accessible, and has ample parking.
