POSTPONED: June 19th Summer Concert: Deep Ellum

The Saturday , June 19, Summer Concert is POSTPONED to the next day, Sunday, June 20 at 2:00 p.m.

The Marlborough Arts Center’s popular outdoor summer concerts for 2021 begin on Saturday, June 19, at 2:00 p.m. on the beautiful grounds at 231 North Main Street and feature the popular acoustic duo DEEP ELLUM. These experienced musicians, Rich Johnson and Jon Swift, have performed separately and together while appearing on radio and TV shows, with various bands, and in many Connecticut venues including the Arts Center, and we are so pleased to host them again. They call their playing “Americana”, a mix of blues, old jazz, folk music, bluegrass, and oldies, and are known for putting their distinctive stamp on each song they perform. They play a variety of instruments including the dobro with its distinctive sound. Their relaxed manner makes their concerts fun and interesting.

The concerts are free and open to the public, but a donation of $10 is suggested. Bring your own seating. We ask all to follow CDC guidelines for masks and social distancing. The Arts Center is fully accessible and there is ample parking. Rain date would be the following day, Sunday June 20, at 2:00 p.m.
