The Marlborough Arts Center (MAC) and the East Hampton Art Association (EHAA) collaborated to create a six-person artwork display from October 12th, 2025 to January 3rd, 2026, at the Marlborough Arts Center.
A reception will be on Sunday, October 12th from 1 – 4 PM at the Marlborough Arts Center, 231 North Main Street, Marlborough, CT. Wonderful art, hors d’oeuvres, drinks, and desserts will be offered. We invite all EHAA and MAC members, and guests to attend.
Three MAC members and three EHAA members were chosen by their respective association to show up to 4 pieces of their artwork at the Deck the Walls exhibit. Thank you to all eleven of our MAC artist members who submitted their names to our random drawing. The eleven names were placed in a hat, and three names were blindly drawn.
The three MAC artists selected to display their art are Dianne Gorrick, Charles McCaughtry, and Dawn Tyler.
The three artists from EHAA selected to display their art are Elizabeth Sennett, Arlene Cavalieri, and Lori Neumann.
It is an honor of the EHAA and the MAC to recognize Elizabeth (Betty) Sennett at this reception. As one of the founders of the EHAA, Betty is stepping down as President of the EHAA. Betty dedicated many years of volunteering her time with the organization and is also a member of the Arts and Culture Commission of East Hampton. Betty is an award-winning artist and has been teaching oil and watercolor painting and exhibiting her work for many years. The Deck the Walls 2025 Exhibit will begin October 12th and stay up until January 3rd, 2026. While there will be no formal show hours, the gallery will be open when the MAC is open for concerts, private party rentals, or by appointment.
Artists may arrange to replace artwork during that time as needed.
