Adult class, all levels
Thursdays (March 13 to April 17) from 10:00 AM – noon
Yes! You can learn how to use color effectively in your art work. This six-week workshop is being offered to all creators as a way to understand how to use color in your medium of choice. Learn the basics of Color Theory and how to apply color, whether you work with colored inks, cut paper, colored pencils, pastels gouache, watercolor, acrylics or any type of *color media.
We will learn about the three properties of color and how they interact and change a work of art. The world of color is deep and exciting. It can be explored through a series of practical exercises to help you develop your sense of color. Individual instruction will be given based on your subject and choice of medium. Whether you use color in your work intuitively or use color theory rules, exploring color can take your art work to a new level.
