If you are new to the beautiful world of watercolor painting and would like to learn basic watercolor techniques, this class will cover the three properties of color, transparency, composition, flat, gradient and variegated washes, wet-in-wet, dry brush, as well as color mixing, glazing exercises, and creative projects.
Instruction will be provided on: which materials to choose and why; how to mix the correct ratio of pigment to water; how to hold and work with brushes; and which papers to use. Students will be guided on materials to choose. This class is limited to 10 students for individualized instruction, and there are no materials fees. The cost of this class is $130.
