The Marlborough Arts Center’s outdoor summer concert series is scheduled for June, July, and August 2021 on the beautiful grounds of the Center at 231 North Main Street in Marlborough CT. The concerts will be on Saturdays at 2:00 p.m., with rain dates the next day if needed. Bring your own seating, and plan for masks and social distancing. The concerts are free of charge, but a donation of $10/person is suggested. On June 19, DEEP ELLUM will play. On July 10, HANDLER and LEVESQUE are on stage followed by SAL BASILE on July 24. August 28 will feature NICK CATRONEO. The Center’s well-known indoor 4th Fridays at the Arts Café will begin the rest of the year with SEAT OF OUR PANTS on September 24.
Our 4th Friday @ the Arts Cafe is a monthly evening of musicians and performers who entertain in the intimate atmosphere of the beautiful Charles W. Hall Art Gallery with its great acoustics and a stage on the same level as the audience. This makes for interesting and personalized interaction between the musicians and those in the audience. It is like having a concert in the comfort of your home, and MAC does indeed become a home to the performing arts and artists. Chairs and bistro tables are set up, people choosing where to sit, and the ambiance is warmed by home-baked refreshments being available. Guests are invited to bring their own wine. Most concerts begin at 7:30 p.m. with doors opening at 7:00 p.m.
