The Marlborough Arts Center cordially invites all Connecticut artists to participate in our “4th East of the River” Juried Art Show, at 231 North Main Street in Marlborough, Connecticut. The exhibition runs from September 24 – October 28, 2023, offering a minimum of $1000 in awards.
The Juror of Selection and Awards:
Thomas Hebert is the Juror and Selection of Awards. Over the span of his art career, Tom has had numerous solo exhibitions in NYC and New England as well as group exhibitions in the United States and abroad. He has been recognized in prominent galleries and has received many awards including awards from the prestigious Wadsworth Atheneum and New Britain Art museum.
In addition to online showing of all accepted work this exhibit will host a live reception on September 24th, from 1 – 4 pm in the Marlborough Arts Center Gallery. Open to all artists and the public, this promises to be a special afternoon to come “Meet the Artists”, family, and friends.

Receiving dates are Saturday, September 9th from 1 – 4 pm and Monday, September 11th, from 4 – 6 pm at the Marlborough Arts Center, 231 North Main Street in Marlborough, Connecticut.

The Marlborough Arts Center is a non-profit regional center for the arts that is housed in the historic Charles W. Hall Gallery. It is surrounded by landscaped grounds and adjoined by an ART PARK that is in its second phase of development. The Arts Center is easily accessible from Routes 2 or 66, is handicap accessible, with ample parking.
