Gail Wade Trio

Gail Wade Trio featuring Tim St Jean and Joe DeLillo

This information is an update to publicity previously provided to the public about the Gail Wade concert.  Rather than appearing with the Hot Flashes, Gail is performing at the Marlborough Arts Center on November 22, 2019 with her group, The Gail Wade Trio.  The concert will be held at the Marlborough Arts Center, 231 North Main Street, Marlborough, Ct. and will begin at 7:30pm.  Doors will open at 7:00pm and the price of admission is $15.

Gail Wade Trio
The Gail Wade Trio

The Gail Wade Trio draws from the deep roots of folk, bluegrass and classic country music, and the group presents an eclectic blend of both traditional and original acoustic music.

A strong guitarist and song writer with a rich soulful voice, Wade has been performing both solo and with her own band in the US and abroad for the past 30 years.  Her early folk influences bring a warmth and depth to her songwriting, engulfing the listener in the deep emotion of everyday life experiences.

A gifted multi-instrumentalist, Tim St Jean rounds out the Trio with stunning mandolin, banjo and vocals.  A much sought after musical virtuoso, St Jean is a familiar face on the stages of New England’s premier music festivals.

Acoustic bass player Joe DeLillo’s stunning tenor vocals are a familiar high, lonesome sound to followers of the regional Bluegrass scene. Whether singing lead or harmony, DeLillo’s emotive delivery and driving bass playing are an integral part of the Trio’s sound.

Through their stellar musicianship and deep friendship with one another, The Gail Wade Trio is sure to provide a truly intimate musical experience for all.

Conor MacCluggage Eagle Scout Project

Marlborough Resident Conor MacCluggage, Boy Scout Troop 39, is working on his Eagle Scout Project at the Marlborough Arts Center. With the help of his Scout troop, Conor has made a garden arbor, cleared a path in the sculpture garden, donated a grill planter sculpture, and made 2 benches. Conor will also be reaching out to students at the University of Hartford, requesting donations for the sculpture garden. Conor has been a member of Scouts since 2008 and continues work to obtain his Eagle rank.
