This course is designed for the watercolor student who may still feel like a beginner, even after having painted and taken lessons – as well as for the student who has never picked up a brush. As the title indicates, it’s for all levels. Experienced students are encouraged to bring in what they’re working on, and to advance at their own speed. Inexperienced beginners will get a crash course in the basics, from applying washes to color mixing and brush handling. All of this happens in the same class; each person works at his own pace; all learn from each other.
This course starts you off. Those who are just beginning will be able to paint a simple landscape by the end of the six weeks and will have learned enough to build on (so that they can go on and practice on their own and create their own paintings). It is a good review for those with some experience.
